FIRST Monthly PTSA Meeting: Tues. Oct. 14th, 6-7pm at SVMS Library
We hope to have you join us for our FIRST monthly meeting for the '25-26 school year as we review our mission to support students & faculty; welcome returning and new volunteers; receive an update from Sky View Admin; and welcome input/suggestions from parents, students, and teachers. Of note, the PTSA is in need of and Auditor for the '25-26 school year. This role can be completed at home each month, at a time/pace convenient for you. 🍲Fall'25 Conference Dinner SignUp: Wed. Oct 29th - no later than 4pm Fall conferences mean long days for teachers! Please help us nourish our teachers while they're at school 12-14-hour days in order to meet with families. Please signup HERE to bring crockpots with soup/chili, drinks and rolls to school no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29th. Pick up crockpots anytime during conference times on 10/30 and 10/31. A big shout out to our very own Loren Renfroe for being a finalist for Educator of the Year! If you haven’t met Loren, we hope you have the opportunity while you’re at SVMS 😊 She currently teaches Leadership, CTE wheel, and Language Arts and is loved by all. Her cozy, fall smelling room and her kind and cheerful nature make everyone feel welcome. Congratulations Loren 🎉
Principal Julie Stroinski shared, "Loren steps into leadership roles across multiple areas, strengthening parent communication, fostering school culture, and enhancing instruction. She has worked intentionally to build connections among staff that have transformed the way colleagues engage with one another. As an instructional leader, Loren has taken the initiative to expand learning beyond traditional coursework.
